Its time for April Fools Day again and like every year, bloggers are planning new pranks to fool and surprise their readers once again. You will hear lots of very belivevable stories, press releases and new web 2.0 services launching on April 1, but hey! its April fools day, do not get tricked. The bigger the blogger, the bigger the website, the bigger and more believable the April Fool Joke they play. Its a great linkbait as hundreds of bloggers link to the ‘breaking story’ only to find out later that it was a hoax and you ended up confusing your readers with updates and how you got tricked. Remember some top bluffs of 2007. Even Google plays tricks every year, remember Google gulp and Gmail paper, I wonder what they come up with this year. Hon Hai Precision Industry, the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, is in talks with Apple to make the next generation iPhone's, this was reported Friday, citing an unidentified Hon Hai official. The Chinese-language Commercial Times carried a similar report Friday morning, calling the second-generation iPhone a 3G (third generation mobile telecommunications) handset. The Commercial Times cited unidentified "mobile phone industry sources" for its information. Apple has said it expects to ship 10 million iPhones by the end of this year. It seems that we have many exiting gadgets comming up for our future generations.

An aide to President Bush has resigned because of his alleged misuse of grant money from the U.S. Agency for International Development when he worked for a Cuban democracy organization. Felipe Sixto was promoted on March 1 as a special assistant to the president for intergovernmental affairs and stepped forward on March 20 to reveal his alleged wrongdoing and to resign, White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said Friday. He said Sixto took that step after learning that his former employer, the Center for a Free Cuba, was prepared to bring legal action against him. Stanzel said the alleged wrongdoing involved the misuse of money when Sixto was an official at the center. The matter has been turned over to the Justice Department for investigation, Stanzel said. He said Bush was briefed on the case and felt that the appropriate action was being taken.
